Caring, thorough. I am very appreciative. I would like to add that when anyone passes judgement on health care workers, they should do so in a compassionate way. None of us can be perfect, especially in a pressurized day in and out profession. The professionals at the Health Center are essential to our lives. We all should thank them for the wonderful care and kindness. Appreciate that they have feelings, deserve respect, and are there to help you. Emilie Kuster, NP is an excellent healthcare provider. She is thorough and efficient. She listens to me and gives me all of my options. Emilie is up-to-date on evidence based approaches to all of my issues. I appreciate her friendly, compassionate, and professional manner! Fun fact: Emilie Kuster played volleyball at SHS with my daughter, Linnia Hawkins, and they won the Idaho State championship in 2008. :)

TL:DR: Persistent administrative errors and dismissive doctors. I used this clinic for over ten years. Over time the dysfunction of this office has grown considerably. Administrative errors have resulted in misclassified appointments, failure to call in prescriptions and numerous staffing issues. Today, I saw Dr. Halversen. The visit began with another misclassified appointment. When I raised concern over the ongoing admin errors, he became argumentative and attempted to lecture me. He repeated that his time was “important,” and stated that reading my chart was not the best use of his time. At that point I ended the visit. As I left, he raised his voice about withholding my prescriptions. My medical needs are simple, but repeated mistakes and a dismissive interaction from the physician

Update: Upgrading them to a 4 star review. SFHC is a good clinic you should feel comfortable taking yourself or family to. We had a complicated issue that likely will push us elsewhere to others with more experience around said issue. Regardless, with the one exception below, the medical staff here have been kind and patient with us. I have some frustrations with communication issues with them but it is not a deal breaker as long as you do your follow up. They're good people you can rely on. We have been going to Family Health for many years. The fact that they have added extra Doctors is a plus, since it makes it easier to get seen if you can't wait for your regular doctor.
