Sand Lake Animal Clinic

We have been bringing our pets here for years. When we had to put down our 15 year old Boarder Collie, Sugar, the staff was so kind and showed so much compassion. They have also treated our cat, Flóki for a UTI and provided his routine care. We brought our Golden Retriever puppy here as well for her vaccinations and to be spayed. We have seen multiple providers here and have never had even a mediocre experience let alone a bad one. At one of the worst moments in our lives, Sand Lake really stepped up and did everything they could to help our baby girl. I am so sad that we moved and had to start going to a different vet. Sand Lake is clean, it doesn’t smell, the providers are all fantastic, and the front desk staff are all very friendly. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Spurgeon has been with us and our dogs for at least 20 years. He is amazing. Kind, caring, and knowledgable. He is part of our family. I would recommend him highly.

As a first time pet owner I cannot recommend this practice enough! There are lot of options in this area but I chose this one as a friend referred me. I am so happy I did as they have taken great care of my kitten. Dr. McKinnerney is wonderful with bowie and very knowledgeable whenever I have questions. As well, Dr. Peralta saw bowie on one occasion and was very kind/knowledgeable too. Whenever I call into the office they offer guidance and answers to my questions therefore the front office deserves recognition too. If you are looking for an honest and reputable vet practice who actually care about your pet- this is the one!

In short: AMAZING!!! We got a puppy in 2023 and this location is so close to our neighborhood so we had to try it out. So glad we did because they have given us the best care! I’d like to first say thank you to the front desk staff for being extremely patient and kind. As a new pet parent, a lot of stuff is racing through your head and you tend to have a lot of questions. They consistently inform you, answer all your questions and never make you feel stupid. Our dog is 1.5 years now and just got neutered last week. The surgery was affordable, efficient and the follow up care has been wonderful. Dr. Nash & Dr. McKinnerney and their team have been so helpful and even saw us for a quick follow up to ease my mind when I thought our dog was breathing irregularly. I highly recommend this clini

Beautiful and clean place, the nurses are very friendly and sweet to my cat Beau. We have been going to Sand Lake Animal Clinic since he was a kitten. Dr. McKinnerny tends to Beau so well and be loves her. Looking forward to many years with them.
