My name is Jim Makouske and I have had the pleasure of working with Christine Richards in person and remotely for various physical therapy needs periodically over the years. I have had multiple hip replacements all on the left side, plus multiple lumbar spine and shoulder surgeries. At 70 years of age, it is essential for me to try to maintain muscle strength, joint flexion, and tendon elasticity to remain as active as possible (golf, biking, walking/hiking). I worked with Christine after having two foot surgeries in back-to-back years. From the start, I felt genuine support and investment from her in my recovery. After the first surgery, she identified an issue before anyone else and helped me by adjusting my orthotics to give me as much comfort as possible until the second surgery could be done. Her focus on my care and treatment exceeded my expectations. My foot immediately started to improve and feel better with her work. She explained what was happening, why, and how we were going to address it. I don’t want to have to go back to see her anytime soon now that I’m all healed up—but she’ll be the one I go to if I ever need help again.

Dr. Richards has had a profound impact on my physical health. I initially visited for a pain in my hip. She quickly identified the issue and gave me the tools needed to bring relief. She then when further, educating me that this was just a symptom of a larger issue I had been battling for years. In a few short months, she has worked with me to correct old habits and retrain my body. Many of the things I wrote off as symptoms of aging have been remedied and I feel amazing!
