San Jose Dental Care

I love Dr. Nguyen at San Jose Dental Care. He’s very conservative with your teeth. He prefers to preserve your natural tooth rather than extracting it or doing root canals. That’s made me feel really comfortable with him and I trust his expertise. I have 5 crowns from past dentists but this dentist has always done right by me. I was due for a cleaning in November but my insurance wouldn’t cover it due to a maximum on the benefits used last year. Dr. Nguyen still checked my teeth just to make sure there wasn’t any pressing issues and told me to make an appointment for January so my insurance could cover the cleaning. He’s the best dentist I’ve ever had.

Dr. William does a good job of explaining things in simple, easy-to-understand terms. However, he charges upwards of $80 just to write a prescription, which feels excessive. The most disappointing aspect, though, was the outdated X-ray equipment at his clinic. The machine seems to be from the early 1900s, and the X-ray images we received were incredibly unclear. Typically, dental X-rays should show the entire tooth, from the crown to the root, but his images didn’t even capture the roots. When we showed these X-rays to several other dentists, they all deemed them non-diagnostic and unusable. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend his services to friends or family.

I developed tooth ache over weekend ( Saturday) and called several healthcare centers and no one ready to give appointment on same day. Some said we can schedule but can’t promise treatment. When I called San Jose Dental care at 9:50 AM and no one picked up phone but I left a voice message. And I got call after an hour and appointment was was booked for 2 PM. Dr. William did everything, insurance inquiry check up and treatment. It is so smooth and hassle free. He was constantly engaging and giving confidence during procedure. I highly recommend.

Best Dentist I've ever been to. He does a thorough dental work. Explains so well. I just love his work. He did a teeth cleaning for me. My teeth was shining and felt so fresh after the cleaning. Going back to him again for sure.

My wife had an emergency while vacation here in San Jose. After 3 other offices were closed or not taking appointments we came across this dental office. I explained our situation and he said he will be able to see my wife immediately. This dentist was very professional and very caring and informative as to what is going on and what needs to be done. My wife got the care she needed and we were happy he was available and so helpful. Would recommend. Thanks again
