San Diego Imaging Kearny Mesa

The issues I had with SDI is the front desk and customer service. My request for a re-read and scan cds to be mailed back were ignored until I drove back to ask again. Didn’t notify me the cd was mail via phone as promised, so I had to drive back again for a 3rd time. Don’t bother with the number on their webpage as it is old. Leaving message for the patients relation representative Kim is pointless. I was told she doesn’t even work there anymore. The actual scan was fine. Parking structure is crowed and not free after first ~30 mins. No validation for parking.

Front-desk staff and technicians were exceptionally helpful and kind. They knew I was in pain, and did their best to offer support. I was given updates, the front-desk lady came all the way out to the waiting room to hand me my ID due to my pain and being unable to walk comfortably, and parking is free for handicap folk. Just ask, and they'll give it free! So cool. Wish there was better handicap parking, since I still had to walk a bit to get to an elevator, and that took me a while to walk. Overall, I love this place.

I’ve had many MRIs and X-rays done here. Fast and efficient. Always friendly staff. Great place to get imaging done.

Tough to find worse patient services: called to schedule an appt and was on hold for 25 minutes -- "you are caller number 7 in our cue" never changed the entire time, which means SD Imaging processed ZERO patients in that entire 25 minutes. Don't waste your time, money or insurance benefits to give this organization $$.

$4 to park while you get an X-ray. Hurts almost as much as the pain I felt walking in and out.
