Sam's Club Pharmacy

Love it. Just like the old days and how all pharmacies should be.

At the risk of spilling the beans, this pharmacy is one of the best kept secrets in Lake County and potentially the whole Chicago-Milwaukee corridor. After visiting several Walgreens and CVS pharmacies in the area--all of which were highly dysfunctional, overworked, and incompetent--I started going to Sam's Club Gurnee. Often there is no wait, and if there is one it's miniscule. The employees are kind, they'll pick up the phone if you call, and the prices are good. Very possibly you don't have to be a member to go here. I have no idea why more people don't use this pharmacy. Somebody needs to do a case study figuring how this pharmacy has managed to stay light years ahead of other chains. Better employee pay? Not open on Sundays? Being tucked away in a corner? Lack of advertising? Requirin

This pharmacy is like a lovely neighborhood pharmacy. They know your name, work with you to get your medications, and are always kind.
