Went to this ER at 7pm. I was unable to breath, fever of 103, and extremely nauseous. I didnt leave until 12am. The wait time is insane. I ended up vomiting, given a shot, and antibiotics. Had bronchitis for 2 weeks then pneumonia which led me to the er vist. Sickest ive ever been. Felt like covid but I was negative for that. Took 4 days to feel like myself after living off banana, crackers, and applesauce. My wife said it was the sickest shes ever seen me. Finally able to get back to work 6 days later when I could do anything physically without coughing a lung out and beimg overwhelmingly fatigue. Filed oregon sick leave for work and sedgwick to get excused for absences that week. Dr. Annette Bongers 100% denied to fill out any paper claiming I was to sick for work. Took weeks for them to

I normally have wonderful experiences at Samaritan Hospital in Newport, where I see my primary care provider. I truly appreciate the care and kindness I’ve received from my doctor and the rest of the staff over time. However, during my most recent visit to my PCP’s office, I had a very disappointing interaction at the front desk. I had been waiting a week for a form my doctor said would be ready by the end of the week. When I stopped by to check on it today (Friday), I learned my doctor was out — which I completely understand. Things get busy, and paperwork can take time. What bothered me was how the front desk staff member spoke to me. Her tone was condescending and dismissive, as if I was being unreasonable for asking about a form I was told would be ready. I want to emphasize that I s

If you care about yourself or your loved ones, do not go to the ER. I have never experienced such a lack of compassion or care from medical staff before. Makes me really sad honestly. If I could give negative stars I would. I won't disclose in full detail everything that happened but I will say we are looking into a malpractice lawsuit. Please, if you can go anywhere else.

It's currently 9:30PM and I've been sitting here in the waiting room for the ER since 4PM for my son who sliced his leg open. The lack of staffing in this place is disgraceful. Update: We waited from 4PM until 11:30 and the front desk kept telling us the same thing "We have rooms that are being cleaned and then we'll bring patients back". We got extremely frustrated to say the least and left and came to Corvallis where we were immediately seen. Now my son is having to be numbed up way more than he would have needed at the beginning because of how long this slice in his leg has been open AND he's being put on antibiotics due to a higher risk of infection. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.

This ER is the worst. This is my second time that after they put me in a room, I lay there in a lot of pain with my lower back feeling like it's been severed of all of its nerves and muscles, and after 2 1/2 hours, I just end up leaving because it's faster for me to go home and take a whole bunch of Tylenol and muscle relaxers then to wait for a doctor to come in and give you a simple pain pill while you have to wait so long. The fact that there are so many one-star reviews says something. This is the second time this has happened and I've just had to leave, there won't be a third. They put in their notes that I didn't tell anybody that I was leaving. Which I did, I told the front desk and she asked me my last name, but they put in their notes that I didn't tell anybody.
