Customer Reviews
I've seen a lot of negative reviews about this place, but in my experience I have found it to be a wonderful place to go to for urgent Care. I've had two occasions to bring family members in and each time they were seen quickly with treatment and or tests done within the hour. Every single person I've interacted with from the front desk to the nurses and the doctors have been pleasant and friendly. I have not had a single issue.
My experience in the ER today has restored my faith in hospitals after having horrible experiences at the other 2 Albany hospitals. I arrived at Albany Memorial at 9am. I was the only person in the waiting room. Within 15 minutes I was taken right back to the ER and within a few minutes my IV was started and blood was drawn. I was wheeled down to get a CT scan. All my results came back quickly and treatment was started. I was discharged within 3 hours. All of the staff were polite, kind and thorough. This is the type of hospital care you definitely don't see at St Peter's or Albany Med. Great job, thank you.
was not a good experience here. went in after getting a head injury in a soccer game. was brought in and put in a room. was brought to CT. wasn’t given anything for pain until being there for 5 hours. had to hit the nurse button to get any form of help. i was checked on one singular time without having to badger them. i’m here for a HEAD. INJURY. why did it take you 5 hours to bring me AN ASPIRIN AND AN ICE PACK??? had to ask for a blanket. only received water only to take my aspirin. after. 5. HOURS. absolutely absurd to me. Physician explained everything very poorly. My “care team” if that’s what you would call it, wasn’t even on the same page about what help i’ve received and haven’t. And the fact that there was zero concern about me losing an entire two hours of my memory is actually s
I honestly hate coming to this place it’s very rude and unprofessional. I come here for transfusions and it’s as if I’m being micromanaged with aggression. The nurse is telling me I cannot be on the phone while she is putting in a iv and I’m not sure what that had to do with anything. Like why are you looking all in my phone. Also, my first visit was very horrible I was told children cannot come and there was no specific date for flu season. Today I brought my child with me and was asked to leave for my baby’s safety very aggressively. I don’t mind being told to leave but it’s the way you say things. This place is hell honestly. The nurse manager had a very stink look on her face as she was talking. Very evil.
Went here today with my wife for a week of her being insanely sick with Covid and stomach issues (34 rounds of diarrhea) in 3 days and blood in urine, back pain and upper left stomach pain. Doctor did not even touch my wife or do any sort of assessment. Lab work came back high for liver enzymes (highest ever ) and her ultrasound came back showing enlarged spleen. After hours waiting for doctor to return, he came in rudely and announced that his ER was for serious emergencies and mine was not. Stated that the issues were to be dealt with at her own doctor and to leave. No vitals, no hands on assessment. She was also rudely yelled at about not wearing a mask in hallway from triage since she had Covid ; when they never told her to and did not give her a mask to even wear. Nurses nowhere to be
