Sage Dental of Deerfield Beach at The Cove

This was once the best practice around. Ortlieb and Rivera had the best hygienists and office staff you could ask for. But since the sale to Sage this place has fallen off a cliff. They call and text you non stop leading up to an appointment, they do whatever it takes to upcharge you during a routine cleaning. ‘Deep clean’ bs. Oral rinses. They’re nothing more than a cash grab business now. I was a patient for over 20 years with Dr. Rivera. But the total incompetence of the office staff has made this place impossible to deal with. I’ve had multiple appointments cancelled with little to no notice like this past Friday. 3/6/26. Thankfully they made my decision to go elsewhere much easier.

i went there for almost 2 years, the 2nd crown they made for me did not fit , i paid for the crown after she took the imprint and before they delivered it. she grind it for 3-1/2 hours but still couldn't get it to fit. she tried a little harder, and the bridge fell on the floor and cracked. she pick it up ,rinsed it with alcohol and shoved it back to my mouth. i told her that it's very painful. i needed a root canal, but she was trying to fit the crooked crown over it. i left the clinic without a crown, and in a lot of pain. i called the clinic to get pain medication, they told me that the doctor will call me back. that never happened ,i spent the weekend climbing the walls from pain. the next week the sent me to get root canal in west boca, the doctor showed up to work 7 minutes after the

Always a good experience, even though I don’t like going to the dentist. All of the staff at the front desk are extremely nice and accommodating. My dental hygienist it’s also very gentle, Which for someone like me who does not like the Dentist, makes me feel very comfortable. If you’re in need of a new dentist, I’d suggest you give them a chance

Dr. Newman and Maggie were wonderful. They squeezed me in and got me out of pain. I didn’t feel anything during the root canal. Highly recommend!

I recently switched to this dental office after moving, and it’s truly been the best decision. The entire team is friendly, welcoming, and professional, which instantly makes you feel at ease. Dr. Stephen is absolutely amazing! he’s not only skilled, but also one of the kindest dentists I’ve ever met. He takes the time to explain everything in detail, makes sure you’re comfortable throughout the process, and has completely changed the way I feel about going to the dentist. I used to get anxious before appointments, but not anymore. I’m very happy with the quality of care and the warm atmosphere the team creates. I highly recommend Dr. Stephen and his wonderful staff!
