Safeway Pharmacy

I didn't go to the pharmacy but this location of Safeway I did visit the staff were friendly that were on the floor. Self checkout lady Denise could use a little more training on customer service not as friendly towards people maybe she was having a rough day and it reflected as such not wanting to be bothered by people. But at least the floor people were nice didn't see name badges to shout out great job to them.

I have been coming here for over 5 years. Last week which is the week of 3/3/2025 there were problems. The pharmacy stated that a cream and a medicine for my heart were deactivated. Their information is wrong yet the people at the pharmacy won't correct it. If I didn't call my heart specialist I could have ended up in the hospital. These people working at the pharmacy called the manager on me twice and today the manager called the police. I was not causing a scene so it makes no sense. Also the pharmacist said I threatened him. How is it a threat to say he is discriminating an individual with autism and a long list of medical problems? That makes no sense.

I switched to Safeway's pharmacy a year ago. It is very convenient to pick up my meds from the same place I always shop at. I feel so lucky because I rarely stand in a long line. But the most important above all, the pharmacists and technicians are truly helpful and professional. I wish I could name them here. The last visit they helped me work compounded medicine and I was astonished how Safeway made the medicine quickly in San Jose and delivered it to me. Thank you all Safeway Pharmacy

Today, after having text and calls from you all that medication was ready, I headed over to what was a 45 mins experience. The pharmacist gave me the medication and I asked for one that was missing (as per the messages sent from you all to us). She took a minute to locate it and then asked the woman next to her for help, she looked over for 5 seconds and said “tell him to come tomorrow”. She then said “come tomorrow”; zero explanation just a cold direction. So I said why? She replied “come tomorrow”. So I said: but why? You literally just had the medication in your hand a second ago?” Immediately this other woman (about 5’7, white, with glasses) says “ don’t speak to her that way, let me see what I can do”. First, she maybe was referring to my tone? Because I did not curse nor did I raise

The pharmacist there are the nicest people ever they always bend over backwards to help me even if I am not yet ready for a refill. Sometimes they will give me a partial so I can get by until my prescription can get refilled.
