Safeway Pharmacy

As some of the other reviews state, the male pharmacist at this location has god awful bedside manner. I often try to leave prescriptions for my clients, and he goes out of his way to be condescending and difficult. He cannot lead calls to a successful conclusion, and seems to be entirely incompetent when requesting necessary information regarding placing new prescriptions. He seems inconvenienced by even small prescriptions, and is rude. I have spoken to him on several occasions and will try all others pharmacies before I subject my clients to this pharmacist.

As a physician I highly suggest you avoid this pharmacy. There is a male pharmacist who works here that probably shouldn’t be working as a pharmacist. The good news is that there are other great pharmacies nearby.

We are new to Truckee and have been working with pharmacy manager Dan and his team at Safeway. We had a major International trip recently that required many unique vaccines and medications. Dan (with support from his International pharmacy lead) worked closely with our whole family to ensure we were safe and prepared for our journey. We are regular monthly customers and while they are very busy supporting the town of Truckee we appreciate their dedicated care and support for our family.

That asian lady working the register is beyond rude every single time I go there. Why r u rolling ur eyes at a teenager and snatching bags😭 needs to be fired

Honestly so impressed today with the staff, I have utilized the pharmacy for several years and have also tried others locally. I am grateful to have a team like theirs who serve our community. Benjamin is super nice but more so experienced and the Safeway system is “human nice experience kindness etc focused”. They do their best to run a great team and are able to meet the needs of people to their best ability through their experience.
