Safeway Pharmacy

I don't usually leave reviews, but I had such a wonderful experience today at Safeway Pharmacy that I had to share. The woman who helped me, Verenna (according to my receipt), was amazing! I had been stressing and struggling with my insurance for days, trying to figure out how to get my prescription filled. She was so helpful and kind and was able to get it filled for me. Verenna, if you see this, you’re the best! 💗

I have been going to the Sequim Safeway for several years now.The pharmacist there is always so helpful friendly and caring.She is always giving medical advice and what to expect with my prescriptions.I rally appreciate the care attentiveness and concern that is always given to me when I come in such a great establishment!!!

This is a pharmacy, not a clinic. The staff is always courteous and kind. I've gotten my vaccinations here instead of my doctors office. This, due to the fact they offer an array of vaccinations and they're fresh, up to date vials. Not sitting in the fridge for months. The employees are not checkers, take store purchases to the front of store. Wait your turn, patiently. In life, sometimes, have to wait in line, folks. Not everything is "push-a-button" instant gratification. Who are these reviewers? Too much time on your hands. Wait in line. Or, go somewhere else.

Awful Service by rude employees. I had a COVID test scheduled at 7pm. I showed up at 6:40pm and the ladies behind the counter all started complaining about how Safeway is "Stuffing these tests down their throat". They told me they were busy and I needed to come back at 7pm. I walked laps around the store and every time I walked by everyone was standing around talking. I stopped in again at 7pm, paid for the test, and was sent to a waiting room; the ladies were still complaining. I waited ten minutes until one of the pharmacists came in with the swab. I swabbed my nose and left. Five minutes later I had the results.

I was very surprised, even shocked, today at the wait time for a prescription at Safeway in Sequim. I was there before they opened at 9:00 AM. I turned in the Doctor’s prescription order and was told it would be an hour wait. I asked why and was told the clerk had to type the order and they also had to give flu shots. In other words either their process is really slow or it’s not customer oriented. Prescription customers are a low priority for Safeway Pharmacy, they are given hour wait time due to typing and the potential of flu shot administration. There were no customers requesting flu shots when I turned in my prescription order. You would think by now Safeway Pharmacy could scan and save the prescription order rather than recreating data from the order into another database, what a was
