Safeway Pharmacy

It is shocking for me to see positive reviews for this pharmacy. Despite having two registers they only run one. Resulting in huge slow moving lines. Any requests to open second register only results in some lame excuse and does not lead to any improvement. If you value your time avoid at any cost.

The pharmacy is short staffed. They are friendly when you see them but this causes long lines and it's almost impossible to get them on the phone. These employees need help!

Incompetent AND Uncaring I am not usually one to write scathing reviews, but my experience at the Safeway Pharmacy at El Camino was so bad that I feel compelled. TL/DR They were literally in the middle of ringing me up they shut for lunch and told me to come back a hour later. I arrived at the pharmacy at 12:45. They close for lunch at 1pm. A few minutes after I had gotten in line, the cashier called out that I would be the last person they could serve before they closed for lunch. The other customers and I had to tell about 5 people who arrived after me that I was the last one they could serve. When it came to my turn, tI told the cashier I was picking up two mediations for my son. He got the first one, and was excruciatingly slow about the whole thing. I reminded him there was a secon

I went in pretty late after my shift around 9. I bought some ice cream and headed towards the exit. Then I hear a Safeway employee yelling at a boy for stealing, fair enough, but then he starts coming at me. The doors aren’t opening and I freeze. The man then accused me of stealing and wanted to see my receipt. I didn’t take my receipt. I went non verbal because there was a man yelling at me after my long shift. For context I’m an 18 year old girl. I went back to get my receipt and the cashier lady was very nice and told the man (who followed me to the cashier) that I had indeed paid and gave me my receipt. He then started yelling at me that I should always have my receipt and I “should’ve said I bought it”. Like he would’ve believed me? Also he’s a grown man yelling at a young girl. I lef

This place reminds me of the theme songs for the old TV show Cheers. Everybody here is so nice and friendly... "Where everybody knows your name!" Mary, Matt, Mike, Steve, Lisa, Margaret, Breanna, Robert, Jessica... everyone,, is such a joy to see and to deal with. Although it is an old store, it has a lot of charm and everyone there is happy!
