UPDATE 9/2025: Check your receipt every time you use this location. My family has been experiencing overcharges each and every time we visit the store, which is only for emergencies at this point but often enough. The manager will give you a $5 gift certificate for pointing out errors on your receipts but the problem continues, is pervasive and is starting to feel like a coordinated scam. I am now tracking these events and compiling evidence to report to corporate and others as this goes beyond disorganization and incompetence. My receipt from yesterday has 5 errors for a total of 14 items, I was overcharged $16.42 total. This is not coupon jockeying errors, this is the scanner at checkout ringing things for over their marked and shelf-listed price. UPDATE 2025: Do NOT use this pharmacy.

Convenient, prices are similar to some other grocery stores an hour away. Self check out was fast

I consistently have to wait to get my prescription filled. Sometimes more than a week due to it being "out of stock." (Even though I call before I run out of medicine.) I have been refilling this script for over 5 years, every month, and have to wait 2 weeks sometimes to get my script filled. I miss Tuttle's.

Horrible on 6-17-15 I don't know what happen to the normal people that usually give good service. This prescription was called in between 10AM and 11AM for antibiotics. I arrived at after 2PM It had not been filled. The Tech said it would be 45 minutes. I asked my wife if she would go back in so I could go to work. At 5PM It Still was not filled. There was a Line of People waiting. The Pharmacist went on Break to boot.. Then came back and Seemed to be just chatting on the phone. He was NOT giving prescription information. POOR, RUDE Service. If this ever happens again we will travel farther to receive better service.

I live in the Bay Area and I received a phone call late one night from Gurneville CA from my oldest brother , Dave. He’s a contracted and lost his ride outta town when he found himself in the middle of the storm with all his tools and belongings. I’d like to thank Safeway of Gurneville for allowing my brother to take shelter in an abandoned Volvo that was just sitting g in the parking lot. They could have called the police but had special empathy for him. My sister has been employed by Safeway for over 20 years and now Safeway goes above and beyond customer service to provide a safe place for truly one of its valued customers as my family has been many, many years since quite young. Safeway was and is our “ go-to” store . This incident only confirms they are the best people working fir the
