This is the worst pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. I have been visiting for two years as this is my closest pharmacy. Customer service is nonexistent. You cannot call in a prescription as they leave you on hold, without answering first, and eventually get hung up on. I’ve been told by a rude attendant that it was not their job to source my medication when attempting to pickup 3 times over a month and still not ready. Everyone there seems to hate their job and they make you feel like an inconvenience for giving them business. Stay, I mean RUN as far away as possible. I’m truly considering driving an extra 30 minutes on top of the hour I already drive for a better experience.
I would leave only one star based on my most recent visit, but, since I've dealt with these guys in the past, and they were OK, I'm leaving 2 stars. I went to my Dr. Last night and he put a prescription in to this location around 5:45 pm. I waited until this morning to go pick it up because I figured it wouldn't have been ready last night. Mind you, this is a medication that is needed for an emergency I'm having. I went in this morning around10:45 am. I stood and waited (there was no one in front of me) for 3 techs to stop griping about another customer. When I got help, they couldn't find my prescription. An older lady walked over and spoke in a very rude tone that they didn't have my prescription and I needed to call my Dr.. I called my Dr. to let them know the issue and when they
We have officially transferred all of our prescriptions to CVS, and I am genuinely relieved we did. After nearly 10 years of being treated rudely at the Safeway pharmacy, we finally decided the longer drive was worth it. There has been one pharmacy technician in particular who is consistently rude and unpleasant to customers, and I’ve witnessed her treat many people this way over the years. It’s reached a point where others in the community openly say they refuse to use that pharmacy or even shop at Safeway because of their experiences with her. In contrast, CVS has been a completely different experience. The staff is kind, respectful, and actually seems to care. The environment feels calm instead of stressful, and that alone makes a huge difference. I wish we had made the switch sooner.
Whomever answered the phone for me on 7/7/25 at 8:35 AM for a Rx status was absolutely rude!!! This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced rude customer service here before either. My call was answered and immediately put on hold. When she came back to the phone, I told her I needed the status of a new Rx. She rudely asked for my information, and I provided it. She then again spoke to me in a rude tone and said the Rx wasn’t ready until the next day due to insurance and said that’s why I haven’t heard from them. Then, she just hung up on me. This was just the start of her shift. I feel for those who have to deal with her the remainder of the day. I get places are short staffed, but still that is no excuse for poor customer service. Grey haired woman is incredibly rude and mean We went to get my girlfriends prescriptions after she was released from the hospital (after nearly dying). I tried to ask the cost before they filled them so I could let them know if we could get them all today or not. The tech was extremely rude and refused tell me, just repeated "they won't be ready for 30 minutes", so we went back to the car to wait. When we went in to get them we could only afford 2 of the prescription and she was so nasty about it, despite the fact I had tried to get the prices ahead of time. If we could have afforded them all we would have gotten them and I attempted to save them from having to do extra work but she had refused to let me know the prices.
