Safeway Pharmacy

Horrendous experience with the woman (she wasn't wearing a name tag but the reciept says Karla) checking us out for the prescriptions. She was so rude and unhelpful. If you have trouble with your insurance she will ensure it was your fault and not the insurances fault or their fault for filling the wrong prescription. She will be incredibly rude to you and ensure you will never come back to this pharmacy.

90% of the time, the staff is unhelpful and extremely rude. I've had countless issues getting my meds actually filled. I request online, and they only fill a few and leave other requests. When I called, they just said, "We can fill it." Then why wasn't it even processed days ago when I requested it? One time, it took almost weeks and countless phone calls between them and my doctors, and I even showed up 3 times to get them to even receive a prescription. It's baffling that a pharmacy can't process requests. People get severe withdrawals without medication, and they shouldn't have to go to the ends of the earth to get it refilled.

On our RV trip stopped in for 5 gallon refillable water and few other items. Walked in and the Flower department was on the left. Smelled so good.. the floors are shinny the store is clean and well stocked everything was in its neat place oh and the donuts were freshly made. Bacon Maple bars fresh yummie.. Employees were very nice. Would shop there again.

I am super happy with this pharmacy. My daughter has type 1 diabetes. CVS didn’t carry all the supplies, and was rude, besides. Walmart was polite, but still didn’t carry all the supplies. I am able to get everything, one stop, at Safeway. I have been with them now for over 3 years. I just had an issue, as my daughter’s insulin needs have gone up. My doctor wrote a new prescription, but our insurance wouldn’t honor it. Safeway and our doctor made the necessary calls and got our insurance to approve it in time. Without insulin, or enough insulin my daughter would die. Thank you, Safeway Pharmacy for all your help.

I was initially greeted nicely when I first arrived from a different pharmacy tech who let me know that my prescription was not yet ready. When I returned after it was ready I was met with Karla who right off of the bat was rude when I was trying to relay my birth date. After being accosted they tried to blame the interaction on the background noise. I hope nobody else has the misfortune of coming into contact with Karla, especially when they are unwell and simply want to retrieve a prescription.
