As a Doula, I’ve been incredibly lucky to work with so many providers, ranging from high risk hospital births, to home births. When I got pregnant with my third, I immediately knew exactly who I wanted to support my pregnancy/birth/postpartum experience… the Sacopee midwives. Appointments were always about an hour long, vs the 6 minute prenatal appointments I was used to with past pregnancies. I always felt so loved, supported, and cared for, and my decisions were always respected. I KNEW I was excited to experience birth at home, but I totally underestimated how much I would LOVE the postpartum experience too- it was incredible. I cannot recommend the Sacopee Midwives enough. Starting from pre conception and following all the way through postpartum these women truly are the best providers I have ever been blessed to meet. They are extremely responsive, knowledgeable and caring. Even through miscarriages they have always been there for my family - eager to help in any way they can, looking out for me as a whole person. Each appointment they take ample time to be there for anything I need, including emotional support. For anyone looking to birth their babies at home with the help of some phenomenal midwives, I highly recommend Sacopee Midwives!! I’ve used them for two pregnancies, and at home deliveries and they far surpassed my expectations both times! Every appointment I had leading up to giving birth, I thoroughly enjoyed every hour long visit spent with them!! They don’t just focus on your pregnancy for every appointment, they also focus on you and your mental health throughout your pregnancy and your life in general! Everytime I left my appointments with them, my heart felt so fulfilled cause they were just so easy to connect with!! Entrusting Sacopee Valley Midwives, Brenda, Acadia, Grace and Danielle with our two home births (2023 & 2025) were hands down one of the best decisions we could have ever made for our family that has since led to a more holistic and freeing approach to how we now live our lives and raise our children. Both home births were beautiful, empowering and Sacopee Midwives were there every step of the way.
