RWJ Speech & Audiology at New Brunswick

Office located on 8 floor. To get an appointment is very hard. I was waiting 4 months for my tests. It is really long. For me was easy make an appointment they pick up call very fast. I was not able to make this in person because from 12 to 1 pm they have lunch and office closed. Plus I saw people compliant about appointment which were not made. Well this can happens that’s why need to make sure you got it. So I downloaded the app and since I got an appointment I can see it was right there. Plus before an appointment they sent me very good and detailed instructions and timing for my tests. What I dislike very much: office is opens 8 am and they arrive 7-45 and later. So if you arrive earlier where you suppose to go?!!! What I liked: Amelia Jane who did my tests is wonderful person and goo

Great services. The people doing the hearing tests have always been great with my daughter. I don’t understand the bad reviews. Appointments with specialists always take months to get. They always confirm the appointment days before.

It was difficult to get someone on the phone to make an appointment. Finally after getting through the 1st available testing slot was over 2 months away. The testing itself was average but there was an ensuring discussion about the correct deductible afterwards. Had a much better experience at the JFK hearing center.

Had an appointment scheduled for three months in advance for my daughter. Arrived at my scheduled time, Was sent on a wild goose chase to “figure out” where we needed to be (There is separate offices across from each other) I met a nice lady at the opposite end of the hall who walked me over to the correct place and waited until she made sure it was the correct place. Only to walk over to the front desk, Where there were two ladies sitting. They seemed very uninterested in helping. She asks with an attitude “What’s the name”.. I go on to provide that information. She then says “I don’t see an appointment… And that’s it!! She didn’t ask any other questions, She did absolutely NOTHING to resolve the issue. This appointment was made months ago!! Initially, I was surprised to see the low reviews for the Audiology department at RWJ. When I called to make an appointment with an Audiologist, the person I spoke with was a bit rude and I wasn't able to make an appointment. Frustrating.
