Russell Dental

Dr. Russell is a member of the family, and has been taking care of my teeth since I was little. Anytime I’ve gotten compliments on my teeth or smile it’s because of his work. He’s provided me custom fitted mouth-guards for athletics, semi-annual cleanings (I haven’t had a cavity in over 15 years), and has referred me to the best specialists when I needed braces or when my baby needed an oral exam.

I first visited Russell Dental about 8 years ago to get a second opinion. Another dentist had told me that I needed a root canal, which would have cost thousands since I didn't have insurance at the time. It was just a cavity, albeit a rather large one. I only noticed it when the hole opened up in my tooth. Dr. Russell was able to fill the cavity (or maybe it was 2 cavities in 2 teeth, back to back, I don't remember.) And it remains unbothered to this day. Now my whole family goes here. He is great with my kids. They are never afraid to go see him, even at age 3! He's great with the kids, and I also appreciate that he doesn't try to converse with me while tools are in my mouth. My reviews keep keeping deleted. Not sure why when I’ve had to spend THOUSANDS of dollars to fix the botched work I had done as a child and teen. I will end up having to have implants here soon. One tooth took him 4 years to work on and I had to have it pulled by a surgeon in many pieces. For a root canal?! Absolutely ridiculous. That’s what will happen with the next teeth if they can’t be saved. I do not recommend coming here unless you want dentures as an adult. He was easy on my dad’s wallet. That’s how you get sucked in for “cheap dental care”.

I’m leaving this review because my teeth are horrible. So I have been at this dentist for years. They are super nice people but first of all. - they don’t floss your teeth during a cleaning which is not cool. - I have rotting in my back tooth that he chose to ignore. - I had sensitive teeth that he chose to ignore- went to someone else and they found out I have NINE cavities. NINE. And this guy kept saying there was nothing there. I don’t recommend this place at all. Don’t ruin your teeth.

I went there for several visits. I was told I needed a root canal when I was done my tooth felt flat and had no grooves in it like the others.. I had never had one done before so I thought this was normal as years passed my tooth chipped away and rotted from the inside out. Still having massive pain. I went elsewhere to have it looked at. Part of the root was still there!! Needless to say it's fixed now and the one who fixed it made the grooves in it and now it feels like the rest of my teeth!! I would have never guessed that's how it was supposed to feel from the beginning!!
