RRH Urgent Care - Penfield

It was great. A little waiting but not bad at all. The guy who took me back was a bit too serious and didn’t seem to want any conversation except for why I was there, which is fine. It was my first time there. Was not bad at all. Receptionist was very polite. Overall a good experience. And very kind medical staff

If I could leave zero stars I would. I broke my hand and went into this urgent care for care, walked in it was completely empty. The secretary wasn’t at her desk when she finally arrived she tells me she had just locked the doors and that they stopped taking patients at 8:45pm. I was there before that and they had no one in the back. The provider pretty much told me she wanted to go home on time and I should go to the ED or come in the morning for an appointment was the best she could do. The soonest appointment was in the evening. No compassion, no help what so ever and very unprofessional.

From check-in to discharge, everything was efficient and smooth. The response time was quick, the staff was friendly and professional, and the provider took the time to listen to my concerns without rushing. Great experience overall.

This was my second visit to this urgent care, and it lasted less than 60 seconds before my daughter and I walked out. The man greeting us was rude upon entering, which made sense since he was on my previous visit as well. Both times I showed up later in the evening - just before 8:30 - but if the hours listed online say you’re open until 9, you should probably welcome patients until 9. Both times I visited were only because the other UC offices in the area were closed, and save for an extreme emergency, tonight was my last.

I chose this locations for: 1. In network coverage. 2. close to my location. 3. Onsite X-rays. AVAILABILITY OF ONSITE X-RAYS IS VERY MISLEADING. Yes, there is x-ray capability - BUT - it is a mobile technician. I called ahead to ask if there was an x-ray tech there NOW. The call disconnected twice before reaching "Corlina" [not entirely sure but something like that]. She said that she didn't know if the tech was there. I asked if she could find out and she refused. By this time I was nearly there so I went inside and asked. She was still unable to answer this simple question and was very argumentative about it. Eventually she located a nurse who informed me that the tech was at a different location. I was not willing to wait an undetermined amount of time for rude service and w
