RRH Primary Care - Penfield

I hate to have to do this, but the care at this office just keeps going down hill. I showed up for my appointment 15 minutes early because I needed to pay my co-pay due to the MyChart app wanted me to pay too much. The receptionist was kind and checked me in and took my co-pay. I sat for 45 minutes as patient after patient were taken back to be seen. I went to the front desk to ask if there was a problem that I was being seen so late. They went back to check with the doctor and then after five more minutes, came back to me and said, That they had registered me as a no-show, even though I was checked They asked me if I could come back later in the day or reschedule for the next day. I explained that that was unacceptable and I couldn’t because I have one car that I share with my wife and s

A zero star is not an option so 1 it is. Don’t waste your time on this office. We called and told the lady we were running a little behind.(this was an out our control situation) She told us as long as we were there by quarter after we’d be fine. She said that if it was later than that & they’d have to reschedule. So we went 20 minutes away, trying to hurry… It was my husband’s first time appointment. Got there 12 minutes after. The young lady told us no, that you can’t be more than 10 minutes late. That they would have to reschedule. Our bad for running behind but let’s be real… to get rude, not honor what I was told over the phone, and cancel us over being 2 minutes past the mark after we were told we’d be fine as long as it wasn’t past 15 minutes. Ive had a great experience with both the office staff and Dr. McIntosh.

Getting to speak with an actual person to make an appointment is nearly impossible. Caused a lot of panic and uncertainty among a family member. The nurses began calling emergency contacts leaving the same number that requires lots of prompts and a very long hold to speak to a human, provoking even more panic. Would suggest investing in more front desk coverage to manage phone calls.

Dr. Holly is the worst and should not be in the medical field. Shes short tempered, mean, short, tried to get rid of you as soon as possible and has even given some false information on occasion. The only reason I have been with Penn Fair as long as I have is because shes had (key word being "had") some really good physician assistants. They are now gone and I refuse to see Dr. Holly. I made the mistake of staying with her when my wife jumped ship after Holly said some pretty disparaging stuff to her a year ago and now I cant find a new primary care. Shes so bad I rather pay more and go to urgent care for everything than see her. Don't come here! I cant speak for Dr. Kira however. Rochester Regional Health in of itself is a dumpster fire.
