Rotterdam Veterinary Hospital

It is not what it used to be. I used to love this vet hospital. I had been bringing my pets here for many years and It used to be a place where they genuinely cared for you pets, and was affordable so that you could give your pets the best possible care, within your budget. Post Covid has changed ask that !! I also missed one appt, and then had to pay a deposit before they would even see my pet,It makes people feel less than, and that your pets don’t matter,unless you have a lot of money. I miss the older vet Dr. she was superb. Retired now believe. As for the waiting room atmosphere, I can agree, some staff are somewhat stiff, unsmiling and unwelcoming. Depending on who you are. Great vet services, very friendly and knowledgeable. They always get me in if my animals are having any trouble and help get it resolved. I moved a half hour away and still bring my pets here because I trust them and they provide such great care.

I can’t say enough good things about this vet! Not only are they available within a reasonable amount of time, but they also go out of their way to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. They’re always kind, patient, and incredibly understanding. Most importantly, they take excellent care of my cats—I truly feel like they treat them as if they were their own. I feel so lucky to have found a vet I trust this much.

We have been with Rotterdam Vet for many years. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The doctors are knowledgeable and answer all my questions. They are truly animal lovers and take great care of my dogs.

Always trying to get you to buy a test or a service that you really don't need. I was not thrilled with how they administered our puppies' shots. Also tried to tell me that if I didn't bring my dog for friendly visits that he was going to turn into an aggressive dog and it would be my fault when he turned out like that. Of course he doesn't want to go there after they gouged his leg trying to give him a shot. For a new puppy, they intentionally spread out the appointments so that you have to pay a visit fee each time. I am also not happy about being required to pay a deposit to set up an appointment after I needed to reschedule an appointment due to a work conflict. I had to reschedule once. Now they want a deposit every time I book an appointment. I can see asking for a deposit if I
