Rothman Orthopaedic Specialty Hospital

Got surgery in 2024 with Dr Ian Kaye. Surgery was adequate, not a great post-surgical experience if I’m being honest. I paid through the nose, on a payment plan to pay it off over 6 months. Paid in full. Just received a bill for $2500 because of a ‘billing credit error.’ The only thing I am being offered is a payment plan. Do not go to Rothman unless you enjoy 4-5 figure surprise bills, years after the fact. They cannot handle their own billing system and you will pay the price. Now I have to fight this, along with every other thing I have going on. Don’t let them win with their bs

Don’t use. Billing department is the worst. Basically hold patients hostage with statements like pay upfront or no service. I pay in full after I receive my insurance eob. They are like No! Btw this morning I owed $5000 and this afternoon it was $1500. That is because so many bills are coming in that my portion of the payment will not be known until it is actually submitted. That’s why you wait for the eob. Don’t use.

Came for a total knee replacement. The br ffff cv lol nursing staff if fabulous. I was dizzy and unexpectedly I had to spend the night they anticipated my pain and every staff met my needs before I knew it. The second I woke they walked in and helped me walk

Been a patient there for over 10 years 6 surgeries many office visits and never had to pay a copay because I have a second insurance federal blue and they cover ALl copayments. Last time I went they wanted me to pay a copay I explained that my second insurance pays my copays . They called billing and said I had to pay a copay, file a claim to get reimbursed. I decided and they said they would cancel my appointment they did and I left. I been to many specialists and never had to pay a copay. I have appointment in December??what is going on to happen!?!

from the parking lot, to the facility, to the staff... Rothman Orthopaedic Speciality Hospital in Bensalem is absolutly exceptional! I truly appreciate how convenient the layout is for those with mobility issues. no long halls to walk down to registration, waiting area, pre-op, etc... front desk security, registration staff, pre-op nurses, anesthesiologists, inpt room nurses, PT staff, food service staff, housekeeping staff, and my surgeon, Dr James Purtill were all absolutely amazing. I have, unfortunately, undergone other major surgical procedures at other facilities and there is no comparison. I personally feel that not only is it imperative that the staff be proficient at their postions, but "bedside manner" is also very important to me. I have never had a hospital stay where I can
