Rothchild Eye Institute

I am disappointed to write this review as this practice has phenomenal front desk staff and amazing technicians (specifically Rodolfo who is above and beyond) but I am not pleased with the interaction I had with owner Dr. Rothschild. I came in for a follow up from a previous appointment with Dr. Paw as my symptoms were persisting and wanted a more thorough check up. I was surprised after waiting over half an hour for Dr. Rothschild he has the audacity to ask a plethora of personal questions including but not limited to where I am originally from if I am born in Florida or not where I went to school, what do I do and where do I work, asking me questions about my attitude like why I seem so subdued (I don’t know maybe because I came here for a doctors appointment not to play 21 questions). C

Office extremely clean 👌 Only 2 other people in waiting room 👍 Staff are always knowledgeable and polite.. Thank you 🙏 And Thank you Dr. Rothchild for everything 🙏 I would personally recommend this practice 💯💯💯

I’ve been a patient of Dr, Rothchild for several years. He is a very skilled, compassionate physician. He is genuinely interested in the well being of his patients. I have a complicated ophthalmic history and he has treated my numerous issues with great success. His office staff and technicians are very friendly and courteous. I would personally recommend this practice.

I’m very disappointed with this office. I have always seen Dr. Bentz and unfortunately he retired leaving me with the next Dr. Available at his prior office location. When I called to request my yearly eye check up, they ask which Dr. I wanted to see so I selected one closer to my house which happens to be Dr. Rothchild. I proceeded with the normal info asked by the secretary. Documents were as usual, insurance type, ID number, never once she mentioned anything about not being in network after I mentioned the insurance I had. Wouldn’t she know this working there daily? A month later into my appointment date today, when I get there I was charged 50 dollars and I questioned the secretary but she insisted that fee was per my insurance copay. I insisted, I don’t pay this amount for my yearly

Rothchild Eye Institute was recommended to me by my Nurse Practitioner, who is a patient there as well. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and followed all the CDC guidelines currently in place. Special thanks to Jennifer for being so supportive and thorough. Dr Rothchild is kind, considerate and down to earth. He obviously cares about his patients. Highly recommend this practice.
