I scheduled a new-patient appointment with Rossmoor Dental for a routine cleaning and X-rays. I arrived 15 minutes early, had completed all paperwork in advance, and confirmed my PPO insurance coverage. After waiting about 45 minutes, I was taken for X-rays and then briefly seen by the dentist, who was professional. I was then told I did not qualify for a standard cleaning and instead was presented with a treatment plan that included a laser cleaning and deep cleaning totaling over $2,800. I declined and reiterated that I had scheduled a standard cleaning. I was then told that even a basic cleaning would require additional approval. At that point, I had already been in the office for nearly two hours without receiving the service I scheduled. I have extensive prior dental history, includin

I came to Roossmoor Dental group because I was looking for a second opinion and a dentist that would work with me. I knew I needed to get an extensive amount of work done (3 root canals and periodontal cleaning). A dentist I went to previously made me feel horrible which is why I came to this Dentist office. I let them know what had happened, and Dr Jordan Belden has been nothing but kind, supportive and empathetic in my journey. On my first visit I had to bring my toddler because our sitter fell through, and he (and the whole staff) was so kind and patient. (Especially since my son was starting to get antsy) He was very clear and honest about the work he recommended and why he was recommending it. He asked me about how I felt about his recommendations and if I was comfortable with the pl

I have been coming to this office for a few years. It did not start out like used car sales people but that is where it is at now. I was told at my last visit I needed to do a $200 mouth wash for I don’t know what. I keep calling to get the results. Two weeks later and I’m told they don’t have them. Then I was told I needed a preperidontal cleaning that will cost $500. They did not clean my teeth. Then I have two wisdom teeth that need to be removed. I paid $150 per each wisdom tooth removal previously. Now I was told it will be $900 because the oral surgeon now wants to put a plate in where the tooth was removed. The office used to have good payment programs but those are gone now, too. It all just feels like a giant upsale. It was never like this in the beginning.

I made an appt 2 weeks ago because I was told they were offering a $59 deal for x rays, exam, and cleaning. When I arrived they stated they made a mistake and that they could not honor that. I understand human error. What I did not appreciate was the manager's attitude and tone of voice. She is white. She kept reiterating, "it does not mean its free.." more than once. I thought it was derogatory, as $59 is not "free" in any way. it is my hard earned money. I am sorry I considered them. There are more dental offices than gas stations and liquor stores combined in this area. Clearly they did not appreciate my interest (which would have been business.) They did not apologize for misleading me, in addition. I expected my provider to honor their words, be polite, and professional. I don'

I do NOT recommend this dental office. They try to upsell you every chance they get and, rather than working within the parameters of your dental insurance, will try to maximize out every bit of your coverage before continuing additional necessary services to make you pay even more out-of-pocket. For example, because I was new to their office, they said I needed x-rays. They proceeded to take 10 x-rays and 4 "intraoral photos!" All the extra photos did not lead to better care analysis and, to top it off, the young woman who eventually cleaned my teeth did the roughest cleaning I have experienced in several decades. I will NOT be returning!!!!!
