Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Occupational Medicine

I had to wait over an hour for my toddler to be seen, but it was worth it in my opinion. I understand how crazy doctors offices can be and its not usually the staff's fault. The staff was so nice and patient with my 4 children and their childish behavior (waiting awhile can wear on them so at any doctor visit so I bring entertainment just in case). Another after-hours office wasn't as patient with my children. Almost all of the staff here were from my other regular doctors' offices, including my pediatrician's nurse! I felt very comfortable here because of that. The doctor was so sweet with my girl and I really liked her. I definitely recommend this place.

I was on travel to Charleston and had an issue arise in a delicate location. The clinic was open well before their scheduled time. The front office staff was very friendly and professional. They asked me what my issue was and were very professional and comforting when I answered "a delicate location". The doctor had a great bedside manor and his demeanor helped me maintain my dignity during the examination. I might have waited for 15 minutes max in the lobby and less than 5 minutes in the examination room. The nurse was friendly and comforting as well. I would absolutely recommend this location for anyone with an immediate need of care during off hours for normal practices or for those on travel in the area without access to their regular physician.

I was a walk-in at Roper St. Francis Express Care because my primary physician's office could not take me that day. I had been dealing with a cold for over a week and had developed a bad cough and needed medical attention so that I could return to work. I arrived at 9:15am and signed in. At that time there were 3 other people in the waiting area. I waited for over an hour until I was called back and watched several people who arrived after me go back before me. The receptionist was very kind and apologized that they were not calling my name. However, when the nurse called me back I was given no apology or explanation as to why I waited so long. I waited an additional 30 minutes for the doctor to see me (again, no apology for the delay) only to be given a prescription for cough medicine tha

I was hesitant to go to this location after reading some of the reviews. I am glad I went. My experience was excellent from start to finish. The registration representative was very friendly and quick. I was called back within 5 min. The PCT who took my vitals was also very friendly. I then waited approx 5 more min for the NP to come in the room. Very nice and approachable person, took his time reading my chart and asking questions and answering my questions. Overall, a great experience.

Dr. Frizelle is patient and very attentive to my needs. I NEVER feel rushed at any of my appointments. The only issue I had was with my insurance that could've been avoided had the intake person listened. However that has been resolved by a more diligent intake person who did listen and made the necessary corrections. I started as an urgent care client and was referred to Dr Frizelle. Best decision ever.
