Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Endocrinology

This was a virtual visit which helps me out since I live two hours from the hospital. Dr Haenel was on time, well prepared, understood my issues and developed a plan to go forward with some changes in treatment. He always listens.and has excellent knowledge of endocrinology. I especially appreciate his kind and understanding bedside manner.

I have appreciated the care that I’ve received from Dr. Mian. She comes to MP once a week, ,practicing in the same facility as my primary physician, Dr. Mika, which is very convenient. Every visit leads to follow-up of ultra sound evals. I especially like her natural approach to treatment. For example, instead of prescribing a selenium pill she told me to eat one Brazil nut daily. That’s my kind of medicine!

Dr. Mian asked questions about my concerns and my prior history. She was familiar with my history during our visit, which was an initial visit. I was very reassured by the fact that she had taken the time. She recommended actions to take prior to our follow-up visit. I would definitely recommend her practice.

Dr. Harnel is the most thorough caring doctor who actually listens to his patients. I respect him greatly.

Dr Mian has been instrumental in getting my A1c from 10.5 to 6.1. I am sure she has added a few years to my life!
