Rooks County Health Center

Went for a CT scan couple years ago and got charged 800+ dollars and that's with insurance, don't know if they billed it correctly or what. I called a couple of months ago to try and start paying on the bill but then they told me over the phone they couldn't find the bill, and it had probably been sent over to collections. When I called the collections agency they had told me I did owe a charge for rooks county health center. But now rooks county health center is suing me for the $800+ this is why I refuse to go get medical care and if I absolutely have to dont let them take scans anymore the healthcare system in America is completely screwed.

Rooks Co Health Center is really nice and supportive. The staff is down to earth and Dr. Oller makes you feel like he is family with the level of how much he cares. Taking time to mention the little things just really hitting home what healthcare should be, personal and caring. Their walk-in clinic is amazing and they have a discount program for people with no insurance, with proof of income. I needed a strep test and just moved here and they were able to get me in right away and welcoming. Apparently it'sjust allergies but better to go and get checked out. They have a little gift shop and their facilities are super nice and clean. I look forward to coming here in the future. I didn't have any negative experience at all here. Being the VA utilizes RCMC through Community Care, I've been there several times, once for x-rays and a couple times a week for the last few weeks for Physical Therapy. To date, everyone I've had any interaction with has been great from the Volunteers to the Front Desk/Admissions personnel to the X-Ray technicians to the Desk staff and Therapists in the Rehab department. Don't have any complaints that matter 😁 only one would be Physical Therapy ... I know they're doing 100% what is right for me, but ... the only complaint is about me not wanting to do Physical Therapy ... at least the staff makes my visits enjoyable...😀

Husband had accident, BROKE HIS NOSE, on Saturday, went to Docs without delay. Took x-ray, they would NOT help him at all........totally refused to re-set his nose or at least give him meds for pain......yet they charged him $136.00 for NOTHING !!!!
