Rodney Village Pharmacy

I'd love to tell you all about this pharmacy however after getting discharged from the hospital with a prescription in hand for specialty medical equipment that they had I quickly drove over there only to find that they had closed at 2:17 p.m. when they were supposed to close at 2:30.

Israel, Paul and their family tun this pharmacy. They give the old world feel of a smoothly run family shop. You will NOT feel like a number or like your just another patient. Israel always takes the time to explain anything new to me and answers all questions that i may may have about the meds and other medical concerns i may have. I find the staff to be very kind, knowledgeable and empathetic to the needs of the community. I am reviewing this shop personally because this has been my “ goto pharmacist “ for over nine years. When big corporate owned company’s have come into kent county and those big stores had issues with high prices, lost scripts& even medicinal shortages this pharmacist made sure that his regulars never and i mean ever when without. They've been my pharmacy for the past year or so and they are always knowledgeable and professional. I have a hard time getting to many local businesses before closing due to working overnight, so their delivery service is especially helpful and accommodating. Five stars for sure!

DO NOT go to this pharmacy/ covid testing site. Several staff members were not wearing masks...at a covid testing site. Incredibly irresponsible. They are listed as a walk in, no registration required and testing till 6pm today and tomorrow. However, I was told they do not accept walk ins and only test till 4:30pm. I was offered by one of the staff, Not wearing a mask, to be squeezed in tomorrow morning since I answered yes when she asked if I had been exposed. Sadly, I was exposed due to several customers coming to dine in knowing they had tested positive for covid and felt they didn't need to quarantine or wear masks as well. I have sarcoidosis and a collapsed lung. There is no breathing problem, reason one staff member gave as to why she wasn't wearing one, that inhibits your ability to

Terrible place for covid testing. Listed as 24-48 hour turn around for results. Was told 48-72 hours when I went. Currently its been 5 days since I've taken the test. I've called 6 times for my results, and keep getting the same response that a doctor will be giving me a call to let me know. Do not get tested here.
