Rockland Urgent Care

I have been to Urgent Care a number of times since my GP has part time hours. Every time I’ve been there it has been a pleasant experience. Especially when you are not feeling well. The front receptionists are friendly and the wait time is never too long. The NP’s and Doctors (especially Dr. Straus) always take their time to listen and make sure you leave there having all your questions answered. Plus they are kind, caring and professional.

Rockland Urgent Care is an amazing place. The location is in a great location for all of north rockland as well as congers. I have been there multiple times for things that needed to addressed quickly, but not warranted to go to the ER. The staff is friendly and helpful. They take the time to get to know you better. The waiting room moves along pretty quickly. Graig in particular is excellent, although I have not met many of the other practitioners. The medical assistants are compassionate. The facility is very clean and well maintained. I have been going there since the summer of 2020. I also had the unique experience of doing my EMT training clinical hours at Rockland Urgent Care and really enjoyed helping the medical assistants with vital signs and medical histories.

The facility was clean and welcoming. Staff was attentive and friendly & willing to assist with self check-in. The nurse practitioner, Graig, couldn’t have been nicer and had me in and out quickly. Overall a wonderful experience.

Went to get staples removed and while I appreciated how quick and convenient it was to walk in the MA clearly did not know how to remove staples. She tugged on the first one and while asking another nurse on how to remove the staples I ended up taking the pulled one out myself to avoid more pain. Doctors and front staff are nice but support staff should have asked for directions if they weren’t aware of what they were doing.

Staff was friendly. Easy to check-in as a walk-in patient. Direct and to the point. The longest wait time I had was about 10 minutes in the consult room to get my flu test results which was not bad. Doctor was friendly and quick. Would probably go back for acute care needs.
