Rock Canyon Pharmacy

I have had increasing difficulties with neuropathy pain. Though I have a prescription for 10mg hydrocodone 4 times a day, it didn't do much for the neuropathy. When I visited my podiatrist (Dr Thomas Beck in Provo if you need a good podiatrist) and spoke with him about the pain, he prescribed a compound made and available only at Rock Canyon Pharmacy. The pharmacy is a bit out of the for most of the area, but we drove up to get it. I wasn't aware that it was a compound and could take a few days to prepare, so I was a bit disappointed. A few days later, my husband drove clear up there again to pick it up. I put it on right away and it took 15 or 20 minutes to really kick in, but it relieved my pain more than I hoped! Great pharmacy with personalized care for the patient! Hanna was especially helpful while I was having issues with my PCP getting my HRT prescription updated. She was kind and understanding throughout the entire 4-day process!! Then she expedited the formula compounding and completion of the prescription so I could get them prior to the weekend! Kudos to her!

8/4 Update: Oops, all lip service! Despite their reply to this review, Rock Canyon has continued to be difficult to work with as we’ve transferred prescriptions to another pharmacy. Several prescriptions were never transferred at all, and the ones that were transferred contained errors in refill counts and refill dates. Their reply promised improvement, but our ongoing experience proves those promises have not been kept. 7/15: Original Review TLDR: Poor customer service, delivery problems, and missing supplies — avoid unless you absolutely need compounded medication. They did a great job with my sons prescription. We needed to go to a compound pharmacy and this place is that 👍. One of the workers helped me save some money which was very Kind. They care about helping others, they are very informative and there is a drive thru.

Unacceptable customer service. They received my prescription on a Thursday afternoon. I was told it would be filled within 48 hours and that i would get a text when it was ready. Nothing. Finally on Monday at 5 p.m. (four days later) i called to see the status of the prescription. They said they had it ready on Friday afternoon (the day after they received it), but nobody bothered to call me or text me. They claim their "system" sometimes it skips notifications! Ridiculous! Had i not called, i would still be waiting for my prescription. If their system is "faulty", they need to invest in a new system or do manual notifications. I will not go there again!
