Dr Heckey does a very thorough exam. He takes the time to explain, in detail, when asked a question. Couldn’t be happier with my provider. In addition, his entire staff is friendly as well as competent… which is becoming increasingly rare these days!

Dr. Heckey as always listened to my multiple issues, carefully explained his impressions of each and laid out diagnoses, studies he ordered and provided treatment plans. He made certain that I understood and agreed with his plans. As always evaluations and treatments by Dr. Heckey are at the highest medical standards.

Dr Hecky has been my doctor for probably 40 or so years. He has always been an extraordinary advocate for my me and our family. He was at my first child’s birth as a support surgeon. I feel like we have all grown up together; my medical care/ our medical care has been excellent and consistently professional, supportive, caring and amazing. We trust you doctor implicitly. Dr. Heckey has ALWAYS been the best primary care physician I have ever had. He is knowledgeable, thorough, caring, and responds to requests and questions in a very timely manner. I'd give him 10 stars if I could.

Dr. Heckey's office is easily handi-cap accessible, with a restroom in the waiting room. His office staff are friendly and efficiently check you in. Nursing staff are thorough and wait time is reasonable. Dr. Heckey is always prepared for the visit, listens carefully and explains his diagnosis and advice and makes appropriate referrals as necessary. I never feel rushed at his office. His after- visit summaries are thorough and helpful. He's a great, recommended, primary care physician with office in east Santa Rosa.
