Dr. Jarrell is the only doctor I trust with my eye care.

I hesitate to write this review, because he seemed like a really nice guy, but my experience gave me serious concerns about his skills as an optometrist. Keep in mind that this was some years ago (like about 8). I took my son to Dr. Jarrell because the school nurse called home with concerns about one of my son's eyes. She used words like "lazy eye" and mentioned a patch. I made an appt with Dr. Jarrell and took him in. He said that his eyes were fine, and that he didn't need glasses. When I looked surprised and asked if he was sure, he said yes, but he could dilate them and take another look. After dilation, he said that my son really didn't need glasses, but if I wanted him to have them, our insurance covered them, so he could write a Rx.
