Robert J. Estrada, DPM: Orlando Foot & Ankle Clinic

Had a bunion surgery here in 2023. The foot got progressively worse after surgery. I called to make an appointment explaining pain was worsening. I lost mobility and swelling increased. They said it was a two month wait to be seen. I had to seek out another podiatrist who had to do a surgical revision telling me the surgery was ‘a mess’. Two years later after a second surgery to correct the damage done by the first I am finally walking normally.

The first visit was good. Dr. Estrada was attentive, and the appointment was in the morning. The second visit was terrible; it was like he was another person. I had a 3 pm app, and I did not see the doctor until 415pm. He gave me the test result and told me you have three options. He did not explain the options. When I tried asking him a question, he talked over me and brushed me off. He was rude. I told him he sounded overwhelmed, and that was the worst thing I had done. He got upset when I told him that. He told me I would not sit here and argue with you. I told him that I was not arguing with him as a patient is my right to ask questions. I was very disappointed. Why schedule so many appointments if he can not handle them? The receptionist staff is AMAZING. Jamar and Tasha.

I cannot say enough nice things about my experience with Dr. Estrada and his wonderful staff. I had something I was worried about on my toe and after the first visit and expressing concern, they immediately got to work to figure out a solution. I appreciated that they moved quickly to address my concern. It was a month later, that they were removing what I was concerned about. We had to do a minor surgery and I got stitches. During this whole time I felt incredibly cared for and in good hands. After the surgery, Dr. Estrada even called me to make sure I was doing ok and that the wound was healing properly. I had two follow up appointments to track the healing and got my stitches out on the third appointment, about three weeks later. Everything is good and healthy and I am thankful that tha

I showed up 7 minutes late and was told they would not see me for being late. I was 30 minutes EARLY at my last visit with this doctor and still waited almost 2 hours before seeing the doctor because they overbooked. The waiting room was full and I had to stand much of the time because all the seats were taken. This time, I said you got to be kidding me, 7 minutes late and you won't honor my appointment? The lady said let me check and she came back and said I can wait it out if I want but I will only be seen after everyone else if they can fit me in. Once again it was standing room only, all seats taken. I said no and left and I won't ever go back to this doctor.

I’ve been coming to see Dr. Estrada for several years. Today I have an appointment at 2:15 pm was not seeing until to 250pm. I asked the receptionist was taking so long she tells me read the sign in front of you it says we are shortstaffed. I told her they are people Who came in last and has been seen before me. I finally got to see Dr. Estrada and he asked how are you doing. I replied back not good he said what’s wrong. I told him I’ve been waiting here for about 45 minutes to an hour for you to see you. I also said no one should have to wait 45 minutes to an hour to see a doctor.
