I've only had one single bad experience at this hospital. Dr. Dib is incredible. Dr. Oshoro (I might have spelled it wrong) was great! They are definitely what doctors should be. I would drive 500 miles just to come to this hospital for emergency care over ALTRU or Sanford any day of the week, 365 days a year. The fact that they could have 7 patients in the ER and they still get you taken care of in a timely and efficient manner is telling of their care and concern for patients, AND their competency!!!! Some of the nurses need training because they're pretty rude, but otherwise, most of the nurses are top tier!!! I can't say enough positive stuff about this hospital.

What a great experience at RiverView Health. This is the first time we’ve had a procedure here and literally from the wonderful (friendly & encouraging) front desk person @ 7am this morning, to the pre-op/post-op nurse Sara, to the anesthesiologist and then lastly to Dr. Murphy, it has been absolute positive experience and they always made me feel like a part of the team making it personal. “Mom, this is how we typically do it, but do you see a need to change anything up for Jentree?” I love this place.

I took my son to the emergency department for heat exhaustion, as his symptoms weren’t improving after an hour and a half. Upon arrival, the receptionist was very kind. I had my son sit in a wheelchair because he was dizzy and weak, and I informed the receptionist that I would park the car and return. When I came back, I noticed him not in the wheelchair , which worried me And elderly nurse walking beside him when he stumbled, she told him to “keep your head up,” as if that would alleviate his dizziness. My son is quite tall for his age, making him appear to tower over her. The nurse seemed rude while taking his vitals. I want to document my frustrating experience with Riverview Hospital regarding my upcoming surgery. Today, they initially called me to set up my surgery, only to later inform me that they could only pencil me in because they were uncertain about my discharge plan. In response, I reassured them that I had already spoken with my aunt, who agreed to take me home if needed. Additionally, I had been in contact with both the nurse and the caregiver/social worker for the aftercare team to confirm that I also had access to rehab services. Despite providing all of this information, the representative continued to tell me that she could tell I was anxious. She was correct—I am anxious and stressed. Just recently came into Riverview’s ER with symptoms of appendicitis. I was quickly brought back and had labs and a ct scan done confirming an appendicitis diagnosis. My nurse Jessica was wonderful, explained everything, and had great bedside manner, and was extremely kind. The surgeon ( Dr.Vibeto) got me in to surgery quickly, explaining everything and was just overall a very genuine man. He made me feel safe and well taken care of. After surgery, the post op nurses and bedside nurses up on the floor were also very kind and tentative to my needs. I would absolutely recommend going here instead of Altru’s ER which has become an absolute nightmare!
