Riverside Village

The first day my family member was there they tried to administer someone else’s medication. There was repeated missed doses of medication. There were a few staff members that treated my family as a human being, but a good majority just burst into the room, did what they were going to do and left, no introduction, no communication. They forced her to use adult diapers and refused to help her use a more appropriate toileting facility even when asked. She played there days ant a time without being changed. Upon discharge, promises were made and not kept. They blatantly lied just to get her out the door.

The new ED Bryce has made an INCREDIBLE impact at Riverside Village and the difference he has made at this facility. We want to thank Cierra, Heather SW, Michele, Lola and Bryce for the amazing communication, support and serious care with our patient. The responsiveness and care for our patient was outstanding. I came in 2 years ago as a resident for my own safety. Then I didn't know that I would have other problems and when I did they were write there to help me through the problem. They try to work with me on what I like to eat, because I can't handle the spice things so they work with that to the best of their abilities. It's kept clean. The staff has been doing really good even through the Covid, with most of us as residents getting restless. I thank God for a place where I can feel safe.

The staff were absolutely terrible. Some may be nice, but the ones interacting with the patients are nasty. Yelling at a woman asking about her clothes. Didn't give my grandma her bpap machine like they were supposed to. Unfortunately she passed away a short few weeks after living here. If she had stayed here she'd of been dead weeks before. It's a shame and I hope to never end up here when I get old.

The staff is friendly and works hard to keep residents happy. Can't you do something about the smell when you walk in? Smells like urine, feces, and other body fluids.
