NP Tiffany Bloom and all of the nurses/techs who treated me were absolutely fabulous. They were compassionate, thorough and as quick as they could be. Tiffany went above and beyond to help with resources and follow up home treatment and care. Dr. Lloyd's bedside manner was terrible and I could not have been less impressed. Thankfully, the others made up for it!
The worst place to go if you have an emergency. They don't care if you live or die. I went there with horrible pain and sat for hours without any help or compassion. Cold, horrible place with heartless robots waiting to charge your insurance. I left this outfit without receiving any help, only weeks later to receive a bill from them for doing NOTHING. STAY AWAY!
I never review places because i never feel the need to. But this place is so horrible i had to. I waited 3 hours with an upper respiratory infection, only for them to give me a prescription that was currently out of stock and i couldn't use anyway. I heard nurses laughing at a TV, meanwhile i was coughing up my lungs in a hospital bed. Every time i go to this place i wait 2+ hours. Mind you, it was 2am at the time and the place was empty. No patients. Its ridiculous. This has to be the worst hospital ive ever been to. Id rather drive 3 hours to the next emergency room than go here.
We arrived at the emergency department over four hours ago because my dad is showing clear signs of a stroke: slurred speech, weakness on one side, and confusion. From the very beginning, we told them this was urgent, but he still hasn’t been seen by a doctor. Four hours. FOUR. While I sit here watching him get worse. How is it possible that a potential stroke isn’t being treated as a real emergency? What kind of system lets paperwork and less serious cases go ahead of someone who could suffer permanent brain damage if not treated immediately? The staff has been dismissive, telling us to “wait to be called” with zero sense of urgency or compassion. This isn’t a cold or a sprained ankle — this is brain time being lost. Every minute matters in a stroke, and it feels like they either don’t
We went to Riverside because I had severe pain in my neck with no known cause. This Friday morning it was no busy which made it easier. We saw the nurse practitioner right away and she took a history and tested. It appeared I had sprained my shoulders doing some routine carrying on Wednesday. I was out of there in 2 hours and actually felt much better even before I left. Thank you Riverside: triage, nurse practitioner, nurse who gave me the shot, applied the lidocaine patch and pills, the doctor who came out to see us and the clerk who took our billing information.
