Riverside Pediatrics

Recently moved to Georgetown and had our new patient appointments with my two preteen girls yesterday. The whole staff was wonderful. Sunshine was just soo fantastic with them. For all kids I can see how amazing she would be but for preteen girls she was especially great. They just adored her and felt incredibly comfortable talking with her. Feel lucky to have found such a great pediatrician close by.

Visiting Debordieu for the long weekend and our 6 month old wasn’t feeling well. We called Riverside on Saturday morning when they opened and they saw us right away. They were absolutely incredible and we feel great knowing that any time we come to town with our kids we have a place if we need it. Highly recommend and would be a regular if we lived here!

We walked in with my sick 6 month old on a saturday 30 minutes after they closed, and they had no problem seeing us, when I know they were ready to close. So thankful for all the employees working with us and Dr.Elias was wonderful.

We love all of the NP and Dr. Steffen is amazing! However, Jonathan Elias is BY FAR the worst pediatrician I’ve ever seen. He has misdiagnosed my child not once but TWICE, has terrible bed side manners and always enters the room with an attitude. Refuse to see him ever again! Had to request to see another NP both times we’ve seen Elias to get a correct diagnosis.

We have taken our babies here and over the last few years have dealt with sunshine. Today will be our last day. My wife works in the medical field and has for nearly 15 years. She has done extensive research in regards to certain vaccinations and the possibility of issues with certain ones. Today we took our two month old for her checkup. When asked about the vaccines she chose to not proceed with some of them at this time. The entire temperature in the room changed and the sweet demeanor that we’ve had in the past took a hard left. She stormed out and basically threw a sheet of paper at my wife and told her to sign saying she’s is declining. At that time she signed and was then told in a negative tone that she would not be coming back after six months. The nurse then said you’re free to g
