Riverside Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

I had all 3 of my wisdom teeth removed at Riverside Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I walked in feeling very anxious and worried about being put under, but Carlos and his staff were incredibly understanding, friendly, and calm, which immediately helped put me at ease. They took the time to talk me through the entire process, answered my questions, and were so patient with me. Carlos was very patient and compassionate, especially understanding of my anxiety. He never rushed me, gave me time to breathe and calm down, and continuously reassured me, which made such a huge difference. What really stood out to me was that the surgeon himself called to check on me after the surgery, which was incredibly thoughtful and made me feel truly car

My family had been coming to Dr. Ugalde since about 2016. He's done surgeries on myself and two of my kids (one at age 17 and one at age 9). He is the best! I'm a question asker and he has always been very kind, informative, helpful, and really had taken the best care of us when we needed him. He even personally calls his patients to check on them after procedures which is beyond the norm, and very nice! He and his staff are kind, knowledgeable, and made everything as smooth as possible. All of us had great experiences! From the office staff, to the nurses, to the anesthesiologists, and doctor Ugalde himself, I can't recommend Riverside enough!!

Great customer service from the front desk and everyone involved. Gave me timely calls on approval for dental services and were super nice and happy to answer any questions I had. Dr.Ugalde also called me the night after my wisdom teeth removal to check in which a doctor never has, it was much appreciated. All around great experience barely any pain or swelling as well.

If I could give more stars, I totally would. I have such huge dental anxiety, and everyone at this office were absolutely amazing Very accommodating. their bedside manner was on point. I only had to get one wisdom tooth removed, and I was completely terrified of being put under and having a Dentist hurt me. Carlos and his team absolutely made me feel comfortable. They talk to me through everything They never left my side. I was terrified to go under anesthesia for the first time and not wake up and Carlos and his team assured me that was not going to happen. Needless to say having my first wisdom tooth pulled, was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a dental chair. AMAZING Customer Service! Heather and Angel were both very kind. We felt like everyone went above and beyond to make our experience as painless as possible. We called yesterday afternoon for a dental emergency, and we were able to be seen in the morning for the exam. Dr. Ugalde was prompt, efficient, and kind... and able to extract the tooth with anesthesia a couple of hours later! The nurse was very sweet, patient, and thorough with the aftercare instructions. No problems with the prescriptions. Everything went as smoothly as we could hope for. Best of all, no shaming of any kind. We will definitely return for future dental needs!
