Rivergate is my top choice for pharmacies in Durango. They are always prompt. They follow through when I leave a voicemail. And if I need a script quickly I can call and know they are on it as soon as possible. Thank you Rivergate!

Veterans: avoid. This pharmacy is listed as "In-network," but when picking up meds the staff claim to only service CHAMPVA (dependents). Ended up paying out of pocket after urgent care (May 2025) and am still trying to get VA to pay for claim since the pharmacy didn't uphold their end of the contract.

I ran into Rivergate Pharmacy today three minutes before closing and found two customers ahead of me in line. Each of us was helped with care and efficiency and good humor, and each of us knew we were welcome there. I know I can count on accuracy, professionalism, and likability at Rivergate. Today I took my very sick chihuahua to the vet. The medications needed to help her needed to be compounded as my dog weighs only (4) pounds. My vet called Rivergate Pharmacy at 5:00 PM to see if they could get it done before they closed at 6:00 PM. There was only (1) pharmacist there but she said she would get it done and call me on my cell when the medications were ready. I was called at 6:30 PM and told to come to the pharmacy. The staff stayed until well after 7:00 PM to make sure I could get the medications. There aren't many pharmacists that know how to compound medications. This is the only one in this area that can. I still get a bit emotional this evening thinking about the staff being concerned about my little Tia and willing to stay there to help her. I know I will do everything
