Rivera Efrain MD, Texas Pain Management

Excellent doctor and staff. My wife has been a patient of theirs for 7 years now, and I can honestly say Dr. Rivera and his office have given her life back to her, and in turn, given me back my wife, and our children back their mother. I’d say I can’t imagine where we would be without you, but I remember what life was like when my wife was with other pain management doctors, and it was horrible. Thank you for the work you all do, for helping her find pain relief, for listening and treating her like a human being, and overall for the care you provide. I’d recommend Dr. Rivera and his staff to anyone experiencing chronic pain.

My husband and I see Robert M. Parke, FNP-BC at Dr. Rivera's office. We have always had excellent service from Robert. He is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of patient care. He is very caring and concerned about his patients and is a great example for all nurse practitioners to follow. Robert takes the time to listen to all of our concerns and has always displayed courtesy and is very professional. We are so glad that Robert is part of Dr. Rivera's team!!

Dr Rivera is one of the most down to earth, professional, thorough doctor I have ever met. I’ve had a handful of injections thus far and he has the steadiest hand ever. He is truly gifted with his skill. He is charming, funny but most importantly caring for every single one of his patients. Robert, NP, is just as charming. He is thorough and makes you feel like you’re being heard when describing your pain issues. He is kind hearted, understanding and really listens to you when you’re talking about what pain issues you’re experiencing. I feel so comfortable seeing Robert as he also understands pain at a personal level so you really feel like you’re being heard from someone with the same experience. In the Past, TPM and Dr. Rivera were a superior and different kind of Place. Now sadly, I've not seen Dr. Rivera in more than a Year and though a wonderful PA is the Face of the Practice, he can not overcome the Truth of a Staff routinely worn out and routinely Cranky. In truth, Texas Pain Management, has become an Overbooked Factory of long waits for the privilege of co-paying for feeling like a Bother. Call them to hear a Recording of Dr. Rivera kindly thanking you for your Call and then their Mailbox being full and unable to accept Messages. This sadly has become their Brand and if El Paso offered other Pain options, we'd have Bailed long ago. Dr. Rivera once seemed a Caring and Enlightened Man but MIA has let the Office on Brown St. become profoundly less.
