River Oaks Animal Hospital

I drove by and saw this vet hospital. I had no idea it was there. I have since taken two of my dogs to this hospital and I am very pleased with the service. The staff and the doctor is amazing. Great customer service. Both of my dogs had to undergo a surgical procedure and they took very good care of them. Plans to take my third dog there next week. Finally found a vet that specializes in affordable pet care and friendly environment without the hassle of a long wait time.

The office was clean, the ENTIRE staff was incredibly friendly. They made my baby’s first vet visit a smooth experience. Dr. Stringer and the young lady (I believe her name was Savannah) were so kind and patient, they even gave my dog 3 different kinds of treats until they found one he liked and then gave him an extra one to take home. It was also way cheaper than I was expecting. Will definitely be bringing my dog back for any future vet needs

Dr. Stringer is a wonderful man who really loves and cares about your animals. He returned my calls quickly and helped us find the best path forward after receiving devastating news about our furbaby ❤️

When I first moved to Baton Rouge 40 years ago, I brought my dog to Dr. Stringer…my comment then was “Dr Stringer and his staff treated my dog the way you’d want your pediatrician to treat your children”, and the service has never wavered. They are compassionate and helpful…the best!!
