Rio Grande Animal Hospital

My experience with Rio Grande has been great. The doctors have been great, they explain things well, attempt to keep costs down and have been very accommodating getting my sick elderly dog in ASAP when needed. The doctors and nurses have been very kind and empathetic, even calling regularly to check in on Tank, going above and beyond in their care.

We had our Great Pyrenees puppy neutered, and 2 other surgeries yesterday. They were so professional and caring, and their prices are ones you can live with. With 4 incisions, our puppy is uncomfortable and dealing with his cone collar, but we’re so thankful to have had such good care from them.

We have been bringing our animal family (2 dogs and 3 cats) to Rio Grande Animal Hospital since moving to ABQ 4 years ago. We’ve never once had a bad experience (and with the size of our crew, we are frequent guests). They are affordable and accommodating. All the vets, vet techs, and administrative staff are top notch. I’m so happy RGAH is part of our North Vally community.

This veterinarian is the best, they save my dog Polar who was sick with an infection of some sort. They gave him fluids and antibiotics intravenously and now he is looking and feeling better. I almost lost him, but thanks to this vet’s expertise he was saved from death. Thank Rio Grande Animal Hospital for all you did for me and Polar. We love you!

Truly compassionate people I had to put my soul dog of 15 years to rest and they made sure he was comfortable and that he and I had support when he did pass. The vet and the assistants were amazing helping my Chacco cross the rainbow bridge I will be forever great full how honorable they made his final moments
