Ridgmar Medical Lodge

My mother was discharged here for recovery after a long stay in the hospital. She is not being taken care of. She has trouble standing and nurses don't help her up in a timely manner or at all. She hasn't had a bath in a week despite supposedly being in the schedule for it 3 days a week. Her physical therapy schedule conflicts with dialysis and they haven't changed it. When she's brought back from dialysis, she's left alone in a wheelchair for 15 to 20 minutes. There's basically no staff here on the weekends. Her meals are late and lacking nutrition. A nurse let her fall to her knees one night and no incident report was made and my father wasn't notified. A nurses AIDE had to help her back in bed. I'm so very grateful for this facility and the nurses that take care of my loved one, my grandmother has been getting wonderful care. My grandmother can be a lot at times, but everyone always treats her like their own. Shawn in wound care is very attentive and always keeps me updated on my gma's treatments. She also continuously provides me with any updates upon my many requests. This facility goes above and beyond and I couldn't be more appreciative. Thanks guys!

My husband has been at Ridglea Medical Lodge for two months and has been well cared for. Shawn, his wound care nurse, is kind, efficient and effective. All his daily nurses are knowledgeable and compassionate, especially Angel, Annette and Sadie; and Kathy, the DON, is top notch. The food is good too, which is a delightful change from other places he has been. I would recommend the facility to others.

Yesterday I was given a tour by Rossy Saldana, the Admissions Director. What I saw was a very nice facility, and patients that appeared to be very happy with the care they are getting. There is a lot of longevity with the staff, which speaks to a real commitment to their job and especially their patients!
