Ridgeview Transitional Rehabilitation

My dad is currently at Ridgeview. My dad is going through end of life treatment currently. Everyone at Ridgeview has given my dad such great care and kindness. It has been a tough time for our family as well and they have done everything they can do to help us through this time. If you have a love one you care about for rehab or more involved care this is where you want them to be and the facility is beautiful. They also have an awesome rehab facility and program. Pricing was very fair and they are great with helping you navigate the insurance process. They go above and beyond with each piece of the process.

My mom was recently at Ridgeview recovering from hip surgery . The care, warmth, respect, patience and compassion she received from nurses Aracely and Lucrecia are what you expect from Certified Nurses. These two professionals saw my mother as a human being and not a number or inconvenience. Nurse Ivan was available to keep us informed with updates and suggestions concerning my mom. We are incredibly grateful to all three of them and others on the nursing staff. Such rare people and professionals. The Phyiscal therapist were encouaging . I felt bad for patients whose family members were absent at this facility. I would not recommend Ridgeview to anyone, and I regret having entrusted them with my mother’s care. She was a patient there for just over a month, and the level of care and communication was abysmal. I live out of state and made it a point to speak with my mom multiple times a day, in addition to regularly contacting her care team. Despite this, there were several serious issues: - Lack of Communication: When my mom was taken to the ER by ambulance, I wasn’t notified for two days. When she fell while being assisted by staff, I didn’t hear about it until the next day. - Negligent Care: Despite repeatedly telling them that my mom doesn’t eat most meats, every meal included large portions of meat smothered in gravy. I stayed at Ridgeview for 5 weeks. The food was well prepared and tasty. The physical and occupational therapists were persistent and encouraging. My private room was clean and comfortable. Caregivers were pleasant and caring. The only negative aspect was that the communication with the family was poor. Calls were not returned in a timely manner.
