Ridgeview Clinics & Urgent Care in Chanhassen

I had a very disappointing experience at Ridgeview Medical Center Urgent Care with my very sick 5-year-old son. Upon arrival, the front desk staff entered his name and birthdate incorrectly multiple times, which forced me to get back in line while holding my visibly ill child to correct the errors. Once we were taken back, no one checked on his condition while we waited, and the staff interactions felt dismissive and unkind during an already stressful moment. After evaluation, we were told there was essentially nothing they could do for him — including no IV fluids — despite information indicating IV services are available. Would give 0 stars if I could... I came here about a month or 2 ago for UTI symptoms. The nurse was PHENOMENAL but the young and possibly new PA or whoever was my 'doctor' was extremely dismissive, was rushing, didn't even listen to my symptoms and didn't even send my urine culture in and then was so excited to send me off to the ER (and be tbeir problem now) because she assumed I had a gallbladder issue and they didnt have the machines for imaging. While I was telling her my symptoms, she just kept looking at herself in the mirror on the back of the door. I would probably not go to this urgent care ever again.

I’ve always felt heard here. Whether it was my kids, my exchange students or myself. I’ve felt that time has been taken to understand what is going on and not be treated like I’m overreacting. I’ve found relief from a horrible asthma exasperation where I’ve been treated like I am overreacting when I’ve had similar struggles. I was so happy to finally have relief by seeing the medical staff here.

Would leave a zero if I could... My PA told me I could die if I didn't go get imaging for a concussion at the ER, I told her I was already in crippling medical debt and she very unkindly insisted I go. I get to the ER and the doctor tells me that I definitely have a concussion but just by talking to me tells me it's incredibly unlikely I have bleeding. What a waste of money... She will be hearing from my attorney to pay for this ER visit

I would NEVER recommend this clinic to any of my friend or family. I would not even recommend to my worst enemy - they treat you with no empathy, they barely even check your vitals. The only good doctor on is K. Wilson, so if you have no other choices - I’d request her. She actually CARES about her patients.
