Ridge Haven Health and Rehabilitation

Absolutely do not send your elderly parent there! Relatives decided to send my dad there and he was a fall risk. He was not in that facility for 12 hours fell out of his bed and hit his head on the floor which caused bleeding on his brain now you tell me these workers are awesome. They’re so nice blah blah blah where the hell were they when my dad was there? Definitely find somewhere else to put them or let them be at home and have a nurse there with him 24/7 or a visiting nurse!

A family member entered the facility, needing some rehabilitation after a surgery. The patient has not received one hot meal since they have been there in over three weeks. The people cannot answer the door they say it’s open 24 hours and yet you’ll stand at the front door, ringing the bell for over a half hour or longer before they decide to come and answer the door, dirty laundry was in the patients room on the floor for several days and I came back and it was still there. I picked it up myself I’d say they lack in many things if I could give us zero I would it’s a whole new meaning to (I don’t want to do my job.) Why can’t the food be delivered to the patient’s heart? Why can’t the patient’s rooms be kept in a more cleanly manner? Do they not have housekeeping? I think I’ll take this a

My Dad is in this facility I live in Massachusetts and he lives in Florida. He's been there over a month. I can never speak to him he told me the staff is horrible the nurses treat him poorly. I have to call 50 times to reach someone and then be told the phones don't work so you can't talk to him. He can walk to the desk and talk on their phone. He is basically wheelchair bound. I only got to speak to him when he was admitted to the hospital and I found out how badly he is being treated and don't help to complain because they will do nothing about it. The nurse from the hospital said the rehab never hears from me making it seem like I never reach out when again I call and call and call and call and call and NOONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!!!! My mother was in here for short term Rehab. And she actually liked it, and I did too. She said the food wasn't very good. So I brought her lunch and dinner for the 2 weeks she was there. But the care she received was great! Thank you Ridge Haven

I really love having my loved one at this building. I’ve toured other buildings in the area and fell in love with orchard ridge. The kindness and professionalism from the staff really drew me to it. My loved one has made such progress its unbelievable. The staff all really do care and they’re nothing but helpful. From the nurses to the aids and the therapy department is outstanding. Even the front office staff is so amazing. We won’t go anywhere else EVER. Thank you orchard ridge for giving me peace of mind.
