Richland Place

My father was here and treated rather poorly. 1st, there are a few good nurses. We had Brandi a few times and she was so sweet. The main issue were the techs. Teresa is just plain hateful. My dad couldn't stand on his own. She said, I'm not helping, you can do it. Then she smarted off to me a few times when I literally just asked for help. We went in his room on several occasions where his pants were soiled, he had no water at all, sheets and pillow were on the floor, and the room was just dirty. Nobody wants to be in a place like this, I'm certain they'd all want to be home instead,so compassion goes far in a place like this.....and there just wasn't alot of that, unfortunately. My mother has been at the health care center two times and I would never let her go anywhere else. Richland Place has an amazing staff, smells great and is super clean. Most importantly, their physical therapy center and physical therapists are TOP NOTCH! Also, the food is awesome. We are so blessed to have found this place!!

My grandmother was placed at Richland Place for rehab after a lumbar surgery. I was very disappointed in our experience with Richland Place. The lack of information they provide the patients and their families makes an already difficult process, even more difficult. My grandmother did not receive the care that she needed while she was there, so we ended up removing her after 3 nights and 4 days. (Examples: She was supposed to receive daily PT. She did not see the PT one time. She asked for a bath for 3 days straight. Never got one) One more thing to note: my grandmother is very alert and cognizant of her surroundings, yet she was placed on a long term care floor. I understand there can be difficulties with room vacancies, but it does a lot for one's mental health to be surrounded by fol

surprised with some of the negative reviews. my grandmother lived here for years. we visited her regularly and she loved it. it seemed like a joyful, bright place. employees were great. the swimming pool was a hit with our kids. food wasn't bad. as retirement and assisted living communities go, it's got to be one of the best.

Checked my mother into Richland at 2:30 in the afternoon on 03/24)19. The room had urine soaked carpet from a leaking catheter bag from the previous patient. We were promised it would be cleaned up. Yeah right!!! My mother called at 10:00 pm saying come and get me. She had been laying in the bed in pain since she arrived with 3 broken ribs and a newly installed pacemaker. She had received no medication for the whole time she had been there. The only interaction with the staff was when a ( caregiver hahaha) instructed her she was pretty much on her own because her back hurts. There is much more I can list but not enough space. Bottom line is, If you love your family members, don't let them come here!!!
