Richardson Nursing and Rehabilitation

I recently had the opportunity to tour Richardson Nursing & Rehab with Daniel Acosta, and I have to say, I was a bit apprehensive after reading some negative reviews. However, my experience was completely different and very heartening. The staff here are some of the kindest and most compassionate nurses I have ever met. Throughout my visit, several team members warmly asked how my day was going, and each resident greeted me with a smile, creating such a welcoming atmosphere. I had some concerns about residents who wander, as my mother sometimes shows signs of wandering but hasn’t been diagnosed with dementia yet. Due to mother's illness I have visited a lot of facilities. This is by far the worst one that I've ever seen. I've been here almost an hour. The reception is I told her I that I was wondering if they do a tour she said, well, who's going to get the tour for you? I said I don't know, she said. Oh well and just let me walk around. I have been walking around for 45 minutes. No one has asked me why I'm here. No one I didn't give me a visitor pass or sticker. I've been in multiple rooms just to see it, reaps of urine and poop. The one of the nurses told me I asked her, Hey, is there a charge nurse here after I've been walking around for 30 minutes. She told me the supervisor left at 3 o'clock. I need to come back during the week, I said, no I wanna see how it goes on the weekend. So I've been

Looking for a facility for my loved one. Happened to run into Daniel in the community and his energy and friendliness had me hooked from the beginning, he invited me to the facility to tour and meet his Administrator… facility is Under renovations. The residents were happy and participating in activities. The administrator, Shelia took the time to tour me and answer all my questions. I watched her interact with the residence and her staff, great leadership! Daniel, your personality is contagious!! Thank you, Shelia and Daniel for your time! This place is a gem in the hiding! Facility is amazing. The administrator Shelia had changed the building around. No smells and Ty improvements look amazing!

Shai and crew were so fun to work with! They have a spunky group of residents, and made volunteering a great experience! We’ll be back soon!
