I recently had a left knee replacement done by Dr. Steinfeld and I felt as though he did an excellent job of explaining the issues and procedures. I spent one night in the hospital post surgery was able to drive and returned to work in 2 weeks. I finished physical therapy in 6 weeks and the staff did a fantastic job. My other knee was replacement was done by another surgeon locally about 15 years ago with nowhere near these results. I needed a revision within 7 or 8 years and it is still nowhere close to as mobile as the one Dr. Steinfeld did 2 months ago. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr steinfeld is caring and really listens to what you say.his office staff are wonderful also.im a retired RN of almost 50 yrs and I felt supported through my recent knee replacement.surgery. the staff at Grove Hill were great.also my Pt Grant who came to my house was good.i also want to praise my therapists at Vero Orthopedics they were encouraging and kind.i would suggest if possible use the concierge service which is Nicki.i immediately felt her kindness and professionalism and if I needed something she was there.she also did my wound care and answered all my questions and concerns.its about 8 weeks now and my recovery has been great with no complications! Thank you to all of my caregivers and surgeon!

I came to Dr. Richard Steinfeld in 2003. At which time I presented with severe pain in left hip joint causing buckling, and falling to the ground frequently. My initial consultation/visit was rather extensive and thorough, and spent more time with me than I was anticipating and expecting. He did a thorough assessment and examination, ordered a series of X-rays and CT-Scan. Diagnosing me with Avascular Necrosis. Pointed out to me clear X-ray's of bone rubbing against bone. Two weeks later I had total hip replacement of the left hip. I was hospitalized for two days. A visiting physical therapist came to my home. As cute and attractive as she was, she was tough as nails on me. She said "we're going for a walk." No walker, no cane? She did what she wanted to accomplish. Getting me walking on

I personally did not have surgery here but my father who is about to be 74 years old had a full knee replacement done by Richard Steinfeld. It has been a little over two months since my father had the surgery and his knee looks amazing (I'm shocked at how fast it is healing and it looks amazing). My father is recovering rather quickly. I highly recommend Richard Steinfeld if you're getting a partial or full knee replacement. Not to mention his physical therapy people are outstanding as well. Thank you Doctor Steinfeld for taking care of my father. I know that he is extremely please.

If you have United healthcare you shouldn’t go here. Dr. Steinfeld and Rivera both tried to help me understand what was going on and why I had so much pain. I was told I had to schedule my epidual 2 weeks out even though I was in pain. I was told not to coordinate with my insurance because I would get rejected instantly. I need surgery but was told to try an epidural first because of my age. I was called today and was told my epidural may or may not happen tomorrow because my insurance didn’t approve or disapprove the procedure. Either way they’d call me before the afternoon was done to tell me whether or not to show up. I had to call them to confirm it wasn’t happening. I get insurance sucks but these people knew I was in pain and trusted they were handling it.
